Angel of Mercy - Mixed Media

I created this artwork on a whim. Within my materials box I found magazine clips that where unique to themselves and to each other. I wanted to see if I could combine these images together to create something that both had design and symbolic strength.
Angel of Mercy expresses the paradox of Woman. She is nobility, sexuality, protector, and executioner. At any instance she must be all things.

I think this one came together very, very nicely. And it uses the tall canvas to great effect.
Strong imagery. Plus the wealth of interpretation that can be applied… impressive!
