Goldfish Crossing is sweet and whimsical color drawing that gives a sense of childish pleasure.
Some of the themes in my artwork relate to feelings and ideas that need to be untangled, scrutinized, and critiqued. Another theme and source of inspiration are people. Sometimes these inspirational people are immortalized in art through the means of traditional portraits. For others, I prefer capturing their identity with symbols.
In this case, Goldfish Crossing is a symbolic portrait of a kind hearted person I have been working with for a few years. This person is a source of wonderment, innocence and an abundance of energy. May I one day learn to be as carefree.
