The Sweetness of Smells

The Sweetness of Smells was created as a mock-up for a book illustration. The picture references the idea of the movement of delicate tiny particles as well as the intense saturation of esters such as purfumes and essential oils.
The flowers in this drawing represent the more common sweet smells, but there are other oders that are more elusive such as the smell of falling rain.
All odors have the potential to evoke memories. It is not uncommon that a smell of a particular food reminds a person of a wonderful moment (cookies and grandma) or the sent of a cologne that reminds a woman of her lover.
